Hello

First and foremost, Happy Birthday, Mom!!! My mother was my first musical inspiration. Coming home from school, I would always hear her playing the piano in the den (do they still call it that?). And my mother still plays, in two bands no less. Thank you a million times over for making me stick with piano (even though my teacher advised me to stop because I didn't practice).

This video iteaches you a rhythm pattern for accompanying a pop song. It has a kind of latin flavor and you will see the technique demonstrated with three very different songs.

New DVD!


Thanks to so many of you who submitted names of your favorite songs. I am sure I will add a couple of them to my performance repertoire!

I have just written the new DVD (yet to be named). It is all about Rhythm Patterns for accompaniment. It will come with 15 cards with each technique clearly diagramed so you can put it up on your piano or keyboard while applying it to your songs. I'm very excited to record this and get it launched! I anticipate that it will be available by the end of August.
