This week's lesson is entirely in audio form and describes how you can use patterns from classical music in your playing popular music. Imagine that!
In a couple of weeks, I will be teaching two classes through Brookline Community and Adult Education. One is the beginner class, "Instant Piano for People with No Spare Time", and the other is an intermediate-level class called "Playing by Ear". This is a fascinating dive into the world of chords through listening and analizing the theory behind the music! I rarely teach this class. Every student will play on their own keyboard and the materials that go with the class (62-page book and CD) are exemplary (I didn't write them). Here's the link for more info and to register. Space is very limited.

That's it for this week. Any questions, suggestions, or comments always appreciated!
Happy Daylight Savings Time - I've now officially crossed into tomorrow.
