Four Ways to Vary a Minor Chord
April 20, 2021

Tuesday, April 20, 2021

Today’s lesson is all about the almighty minor chord. Isn’t it just so beautiful? I think so!

But hold on, there is more (do I sound like an infomercial?)

As if the minor chord weren’t great enough, I am going to show you how to vary it in 4 different ways. You can use these variations as you see fit. Some variations (like the b5) will NOT sound good in a particular song and others will be a smashing success!

The cool part,, is there is no right or wrong. This is your creative process and YOU get to decide what you like.

Imagine that!

PianoPalooza - One Night One Song

Next week, I will be announcing the next song in our series. I will give the name and the date so stay tuned!! Remember, it is one hour, one night, one song, live class with me. You will receive the music, the chord notation and a 15-20 minute summary video!

Here is what one of the students, Jean from Australia, had to say

“I am really enjoying participating in Debbie’s “One Night One Song” series of classes and am trying to attend as many as I can fit into my own teaching schedule. Debbie’s manner of presentation is methodical and encouraging, leaving much room for creativity. As the class sizes are limited, I was pleased with the amount of individualized answers given. The condensed replay videos are a great summary of the key concepts.”

Have a wonderful week and thank you so much for being part of our piano community!
