Tuesday, November 23, 2010

Hello

Here is the second part of a two lesson series of lessons from Tim Ray. Tim has played at the White House, The Tonight Show, Carnegie Hall, and has accompanied Lyle Lovett, Aretha Franklin and Bonnie Raitt extensively. He teaches at The New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA.

In this first lesson, Tim teaches you a lesson on the blues. He shows you the blues scale and blues notes. The lesson is 9 minutes long.

Well, that's it for today. Next week you will hear an awesome interview I just had with Brad Ellis, jazz pianist, arranger, and pianist for the hit TV show "Glee". Here's a little bio to get you ready.
